We owe our existence to the two industries and enjoy a complementary relationship with them. We were therefore committed from the beginning to recognize and honour the best talents who are leading the two industries to higher peaks of excellence. I am proud to say that we were able to do so even during the pandemic in 2020 and 2021.” Adding to what Mr Kumar said, Mr Hari Dadoo stressed the fact that the awardees are shortlisted after a rigorous nomination and jury process to ensure that no one is favoured over the other for reasons other than excellence. “We want only the best to win so that they set new industry benchmarks and lead the way for sectoral and national growth. The IHE Excellence Awards represent the pinnacle of recognition for those who have raised the bar in the hospitality sector,” Mr Dadoo said. The glamorous award ceremony was a spectacular affair with prominent dignitaries and industry leaders in attendance.
