The camp saw collaboration between teams from GIMS and Kailash Institute of Nursing and Paramedical Sciences being lead by Dr Shalini Bahadur, Incharge blood bank and Professor Pathology and Mr Sandeep Goel and faculty members of Kailash. A very enthusiastic response was seen among the budding students of the institute both boys and girls who turned up to donate blood. The first donation was rendered by Mr Sandeep Goel. Likewise the team from Prakash Institute of Physiotherapy Rehabilitation and Allied Sciences was accompanied by their faculty members. Donors were felicitated and appreciated and post donation care was explained by Dr Bahadur.

We are greatly indebted to our voluntary donors, the youth of India, the future of the years to come who have come forward to donate blood to the unseen, unknown patients who regularly require transfusions, be it thalassaemic, patients of other hemoglobinopathies, trauma or cancer.
