The Students of Medical College & Nursing college of Government Institute of Medical Sciences, Greater Noida celebrated ‘Teachers Day’,to acknowledge and appreciate the Teachers’ hard work and passion, who have played an instrumental and constructive role in shaping great minds and guiding students on the path to success.
Every year, India celebrates the birth anniversary of Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan (September 5) as National Teachers’ Day as a tribute to his contributions and achievements.
On the occasion of Teachers’ Day, Dr. (Brig.) Rakesh Gupta, Director, GIMS felicitated the esteem teachers of the medical field of various departments, who have contributed immensely in the growth of GIMS. The teachers, who have been felicitated are Shri. S.M. Prasad, Ex Joint Director, UPCST, Dr. Atul Murari Ex Prof & head Forensic Medicine GIMS & LHMC, Prof Rajpal, ADG and Professor of Radiology, LHMC, Dr. (Gen.) Rishi Gupta, Ex Prof & Head AFMC.
All the teachers from GIMS were also felicitated. There are over 80 Faculty members in various broad specialties. The faculty members are highly qualified, dedicated and from various prestigious institutions of the country. GIMS students also presented excellent cultural performances for their respected teachers.
The program was attended by Dr. Saurabh Srivastava, CMS, GIMS, Dr. Rambha Pathak, Dean, GIMS, Dr. Neetu Bhadauria, Principal, College of Nursing, GIMS, all the faculty, students & interns.
